Block Margarine and Solid Fat Melting Machine

We manufacture stainless steel block margarine and solid fat melting machines for the controlled, homogeneous and hygienic melting of block margarine, palm oil, vegetable shortening and similar food products.

Our standard models are manufactured from food-grade AISI 304L stainless steel. Dimensions, melting capacity, heating system, pump configuration and automation level can be customized according to the customer’s process requirements.

The equipment can operate with hot water or steam supplied by the customer’s factory. We also manufacture fully independent models equipped with an integrated hot-water preparation and circulation system. The machine shown in the photographs is a self-contained model that produces and circulates its own hot water.

Standard melted-fat capacities generally range from 100 to 1500 litres. Rectangular and cylindrical body configurations are available upon request.

Operating Principle

Blocks of margarine or solid fat are placed inside the melting chamber. The product is melted in a controlled manner by means of a hot-water or steam-heated coil combined with resistance-heated forced-air circulation.

The melted product flows into a separate collection tank located at the lower section of the machine. Product temperature and level are automatically monitored and controlled.

Hot water for the heating coil is prepared in a separate heating chamber and circulated through the coil by a circulation pump. The melted-fat collection tank and the hot-water circuit are controlled independently.
