Tunnel Type Drying and Thermal Processing Ovens

Dizayn Makina Sanayi designs and manufactures high-efficiency, reliable tunnel-type drying ovens and thermal processing systems tailored to the needs of industrial and production facilities.

Our tunnel ovens are designed for continuous or semi-continuous drying, heating, and necessary process operations of products within controlled temperature, air circulation, and process duration. The dimensions and technical specifications of the oven are specially determined according to the product's characteristics, capacity, moisture content, target temperature, and production speed.

Working Principle of Tunnel Type Ovens

Products are loaded into the oven through the conveyor system, tray, cart, or special transport system from the oven's entry section. While passing through controlled temperature zones inside the oven, the product is dried or heated in a controlled manner thanks to homogeneous air circulation. Temperature, airflow rate, and conveyor speed inside the oven are controlled to meet the process conditions required by the product. Different temperature zones can be created inside the oven if needed.

Oven Dimensions and Capacity

There is no standard single size for tunnel ovens at Dizayn Makina Sanayi. Oven dimensions and capacity are designed according to the customer's production process. The oven's length, width, height, entry-exit dimensions, conveyor width, conveyor speed, operating temperature, heating power, and air circulation system are determined according to the product's characteristics.

For example, compact tunnel ovens can be designed for small and medium-scale productions, while multi-zone tunnel ovens with lengths of several meters can be produced for high-capacity mass production facilities.

Heating System

Different heating systems can be applied in our tunnel ovens according to the required process temperature and usage area. Electric resistance systems, hot air systems, or other heating solutions suitable for the project can be used. Heaters work together with the air circulation system inside the oven to ensure the temperature reaches the product surface as evenly as possible. If necessary, the oven can be divided into multiple temperature zones with different temperature and airflow values applied in each zone.

Air Circulation

Air circulation plays an important role in the performance of tunnel ovens. Fans and air ducts designed by Dizayn Makina Sanayi are projected according to the product's characteristics. The aim is to ensure the temperature is distributed as homogeneously as possible inside the oven and to prevent overheating or insufficient heating in different product zones. Airflow direction, fan capacity, duct design, and recirculation air system can be determined according to the production process.

Conveyor System

Different conveyor solutions can be used to transport products inside tunnel ovens. The appropriate transport system is selected according to the product's size, weight, temperature, and production capacity. Adjustable conveyor speed allows control of the product's residence time inside the oven, enabling different process durations for different products.
