250X250 Mm Sunflower Oil Filter Press

The 250x250 mm Sunflower Oil Filter Press is a compact filtration system used to separate sediment and solid particles from sunflower oil.

The sunflower oil to be filtered is directed to the feed section by a pump. The filter cloths allow the liquid oil to pass through while retaining solid particles inside the chambers formed by the filter plates.

As filtration continues, solid particles accumulate between the plates and form a filter cake. When the filter press is full, the manual hydraulic jack system is released and the piston is retracted to open the plate group. The plates are manually separated by the operator and the filter cakes are discharged.

Filter Press Construction and Specifications

The machine frame is manufactured as standard from ST37 steel, while the product feed section is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The frame surfaces are protected with epoxy primer and protective epoxy paint.

Filter Cloth and Sample Testing

Since the amount of sediment and particle characteristics in the oil can vary, selecting the correct filter cloth plays an important role in filtration performance.

Whenever possible, a filtration test is carried out using a product sample provided by the customer. During the test, filtration behavior, filter cake formation and filtrate results are evaluated to determine the suitable filter cloth and filtration characteristics for sunflower oil filtration.

Filtration time, filter cake structure and filtrate characteristics may vary depending on the solids concentration and particle structure of the product.
