800X800 Mm 50-Plate Trolley Filter Press

The 800x800 mm 50-plate trolley filter press is a filtration system used in industrial processes for separating solid particles from liquids and forming filter cake.

The product to be filtered is directed to the feed section by a pump. The filter cloths allow the liquid phase to pass through while retaining the solid particles within the filtration section formed by the filter plates.

As filtration continues, solid particles accumulate between the plates and form a filter cake. When the filter press is full, the hydraulic piston retracts and the system opens. The filter plates are separated sequentially by the automatic trolley plate opening system. The automatic shaking system helps the filter cakes remaining on the plates to discharge more easily.

The trolley plate opening and shaking system helps reduce operator intervention, especially in filter presses with a high number of plates, by making cake discharge easier.

Filter Press Construction and Specifications

The machine frame is manufactured as standard from ST37 steel, while the feed section is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The frame surfaces are protected with epoxy primer and protective epoxy paint.

Filter Cloth and Sample Testing

Since the structure and particle characteristics of products can vary, selecting the correct filter cloth plays an important role in filtration performance.

Whenever possible, a filtration test is carried out using a product sample provided by the customer. During the test, filtration behavior, filter cake formation and filtrate results are evaluated to determine suitable filter cloth and filtration characteristics for the process.

Filtration time, filter cake structure and filtrate characteristics may vary depending on the solids concentration and particle structure of the product to be filtered.
