Filter Presses For Sale Ad Description
FILTER PRESS
The basic working principle of a filter press is to separate solids such as sludge, chips, and residue from a liquid by filtering. The material to be purified is sent to the filter press using a pump, where it passes under pressure through plates and reaches the filter cloth. The liquid portion is filtered through the cloth and exits, while the solid residue is compressed between the plates, forming a "cake." The process ends when the space between the plates is filled with cake. The filter press is then opened, the cakes are removed, and the machine is ready for the next cycle.
