Chassis

• The Lowbed chassis consists of four “I”-section beams made of 20 mm x 150 mm (ST 52.3 A grade) top and bottom flanges and 10 mm ST 52.3 web plates, welded using a submerged arc welding machine.
• The chassis is reinforced underneath with 160 NPI crossbeams running along its entire length.

Axles

• Equipped with 4 axles, each with a capacity of 12–14–16 tons.
• Air suspension, multi-leaf spring, and tandem suspension system.
• Brake linings and heavy-duty brake levers conform to TSE standards.
