What is a Wet Blasting Machine?

A wet blasting machine is a surface treatment system in which abrasive material (such as sand, aluminum oxide, or glass beads) is mixed with water and sprayed onto a surface at high pressure. Unlike traditional dry blasting, the addition of water significantly reduces dust emissions and makes the process more environmentally friendly.

Working Principle

1. Mixing Water and Abrasive: Abrasive material is mixed with water and held in a tank.

2. Pressurized Spraying: This mixture is sprayed onto the surface through a nozzle using compressed air or a hydraulic system.

3. Surface Cleaning: The sprayed mixture removes rust, paint, grease, and other coatings from the surface.

4. Waste Control: Water suppresses airborne dust and makes waste collection easier.
