Slump Test Set Liya Laboratory Test Equipment Ad Description
General Specifications:
The consistency of fresh concrete is determined by measuring the slump of the concrete. Fresh concrete is placed and compacted into a truncated cone-shaped mould, and after the mould is lifted vertically, the decrease in height (slump) of the concrete mass is measured and taken as an indication of workability.
The slump cone, filling funnel, tamping rod, base plate, rubber mallet and steel ruler are supplied as a complete set.
All parts are either electrostatic powder coated or hot-dip galvanized.
The mould is made of metal that is not adversely affected by cement paste in a short time and is used for preparing the test specimen. The inner surface of the mould is free from projections, smooth and without cavities or notches. The mould is hollow and has the shape of a truncated cone. The top and bottom openings are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the vertical axis of the cone.
The filling funnel is made of non-absorbent metal that is not adversely affected by cement paste in a short time. It is fitted with a coupling ring so that it can be mounted on top of the mould.
