Roller, Casting Roller

The roller is an equipment used for pressing soil and breaking clods with flat and toothed roller drums, which are attached to the tractor either mounted or towed. The roller is manufactured in two types, 20-section (OZ-401) and 22-section (OZ-402), and is connected to the tractor as mounted or towed. The machine consists of flat and toothed roller drums arranged side by side on a shaft supported by bearings at both ends, working by rotating in the soil as a soil leveling machine. Produced by ÖZİŞTAR Agricultural Machinery Industry and Trade, the roller is a soil tillage equipment connected to the tractor as mounted or towed. The roller includes a three-point hitch system, drawbar, machine carrier frame, carrying arms connected to the three-point system, main shaft carrying the rollers, and flat-toothed type rollers. The main shaft carrying the rollers is supported by sliding bearings at both ends, which are bolted to the machine chassis. The rollers are arranged side by side on the main shaft with one flat and one toothed roller.

Precautions During Transport and Shipment

When loading the machine onto transport vehicles, it must be protected against friction and hard impacts. Necessary fastening and securing materials should be used to protect the machines from shocks and friction during transportation on the vehicle.

Assembly and Preparation for Use

Machine Assembly

For attaching the machine with a three-point hydraulic system to the tractor, the tractor is brought close to the machine. First, the left lower link, then the right lower link, and finally the upper link are attached to the machine. The machine connected to the tractor is centered relative to the tractor axle using the tractor side stabilizer arms.

Safe Operation of the Machine

Before putting the machine into use, grease should be applied to the main shaft bearings through grease fittings. At the end of each mowing season, the machine should be cleaned, and the grease checked and stored in a suitable environment.

Safety Instructions

• Always stop the machine when adjusting or lubricating.
• When mounting the machine to the tractor, attach front weights to balance the tractor.
• Before starting the machine, position it parallel to the ground.
• No one should be between the tractor and machine when positioning it parallel to the ground.
• Do not operate the machine without lubrication.
