General Features:

With the Bims-Concrete Block Test Press, compression plates measuring 510x310x50 mm allow testing of concrete blocks and construction materials. With a 120-ton capacity, it can be operated fully automatically via computer or manually through a servo control panel. During manual operation, readings are displayed on a digital screen.

Bims-Concrete Block Test Press Loading Frame

The press body is monoblock, and the piston is positioned in the center of the structure. The front part of the press is equipped with a safety cage.

Compression Plates and Movable Head

The upper compression plate features a movable head system. These plates allow for testing of various molds and similar components. Both compression plates are made of high-quality steel, hardened, and ground in accordance with relevant standards. The surface hardness of the plates is 55 HRC.

Loading Cylinder Components & Limit Switch

All frames include an upward-moving piston. The piston diameter varies according to the machine’s capacity. The piston moves at a speed of 100 mm/min until it makes contact with the specimen, then reduces to the desired testing speed. After the test is completed, it returns to its starting position. The piston stroke is 50 mm. After a 50 mm movement, the piston activates the limit switch, stopping the motor.

Hydraulic Unit and Digital Graphic Display Unit

The hydraulic unit has a maximum capacity of 600 bar and includes a digital graphic display system. The pressure gauge accuracy is ±0.3%. The loading rate can be set between 2.5 and 20 kN/s. The accuracy of the loading rate is within ±5% of the set speed. The digital display unit allows real-time monitoring of parameters such as load rate, load, and stress during the test.

Software

The Bims-Concrete Block Test Press comes with free testing software. The program allows the entry of sample, company, laboratory, and test details. Load-time graphs, test reports, and sample reports can be generated.
