Pulverize,Micronizer

• Micronizer is manufactured from heavy duty, wear resistant steel with MIG welding.
• The material is grinded between a fixed and a rotary grinder disc with angled teeth.
• Material is centrally fed between the discs by a speed controlled helix loading system, discharging from a hopper.
• Discs are machined from a single piece cold work steel block and core hardened with heat treatment in vacuum.
• Bearings, bushings and disc shaft are aviation grade material.
• Teeth profile and angles of the discs are specific to material to be micronized.
• Atomized cooling water is injected from the center of the discs, providing an instantenous vaporizing effect which cool the discs and material. Material is discharged completely dry, and there is no discolorization through heat stress.
• Water injection system is volume controlled.
• Material and disc temperatures are constantly monitored by a thermostat, set to either start water injection or stop material feeding.
• Air cooling and circulation is also provided through the rear housing of the discs and the discharge blower fan.
• A time set locking switch prevents opening of the housing while the disc is still turning.
• The discs are easy to replace and are adjusted from outside of the micronizer for desired particle size. Disc teeths can be resharpened 10-12 times.
• Discs are driven by easy to replace, long life C type V-belts .
• Micronised plastic particles are pneumatically removed by a fan providing a strong suction force and extra cooling.
• MIG welded, sturdy, compact  housing and frame is mounted on vibration and shock absorber pads.

Discs

• DIN 1.2379 (X 155CrVMo 12 1) material for stationary and rotor discs.
• Heat treated to 57-59 HRC.
• Discs are manufactured and certified in France.
• Rotary and stationary discs are easy to fit and are bolt adjustable.
