Vibration is the process of shaking and energizing the concrete to expel the air trapped inside. The shaking temporarily reduces the friction between aggregates, making the concrete more fluid. This increased fluidity allows the concrete to compact and settle more easily. As a result, a denser, stronger, and more durable concrete is achieved. Once the vibration process ends, friction between materials inside the concrete is restored.
