Granulator

• Granulator is manufactured from heavy duty, wear resistant steel with MIG welding of all parts.
• Combined granulation chamber top half and hopper assembly open by hydraulic ram, controlled through main control panel. Hydraulic ram power unit with directional valve and oil level indicators.
• Screen frame is opened and closed by gas cylinder.
• Vertical plastic curtains inside the hopper prevent material fly back. Hopper mouth is designed for conveyor feeding.
• Heavy duty, self aligning, double row, oversize bearings absorb all granulation shocks.
• Bearings are placed inside water cooled, precision machined, single piece solid steel bearing pillows. Double row, spring loaded seals and an annular chamber with a down looking opening before the bearings prevent dust absorption into the bearings and grease leakage into the granulation chamber.
• Robot welded rotor is precision milled from single piece high grade steel.
• Rotor and knife plate design allows bulky materials to be granulated and prevents material clogging inside the granulating chamber.
• True scissor type operating knives prevents excess noise, heat, dust and fines, improves performance, saves energy.
• Oversize pulley and flywheel increase torque and provide constant balance.
• Power is transferred to the rotor by easy to replace, long life C type v-belts.
• Integrated flake collection chamber and screen cage group is swing down open for fast cleaning and screen replacement, aided by a gas spring (pneumatic strut).
• MIG welded sturdy frame is mounted on vibration and shock absorbing pads.
• Security interlocks prevent any accidental starts while the granulator body parts are open.
• Control cables run through a central junction box on the granulator for ease of installation.
• Emergency mushroom stop button on the granulator for safety.
