General Specifications:
The Marshall Stability Testing Machine is designed to determine the stability and flow values of bituminous paving mixtures. The machine has a load cell connected to a crosshead mounted on a rigid, adjustable base. The load is applied by a jack driven by a screw mechanism, operated by an electric motor, providing a platen speed of 50.8 mm/min.
The load capacity of the machine is 50 kN. The flow measurement device has an accuracy of ±0.1 mm. The machine is fully automatic. Stability and flow values are displayed digitally. The machine is supplied complete with upper and lower breaking heads, a 50 kN load cell and a flow transducer.
