General Features:

The Los Angeles testing machine is used to determine the resistance of aggregates to fragmentation. The drum has an internal diameter of (711 ± 5) mm and an internal length of (508 ± 5) mm. The motor rotates the drum at a speed between 31 and 33 revolutions per minute.

Thanks to the revolution counter, the motor stops automatically after the preset number of revolutions. A tray is provided for collecting the material and steel balls after testing.

Alternatively, a Los Angeles machine with a safety cabinet is available. When the safety door is opened, the machine automatically stops for operator protection.
