Le Chatelier Test Set Liya Laboratory Test Devices Ad Description
General Specifications:
It is based on determining the volume stability of cement specimens. For each mould there is a pair of glass plates, one upper and one lower. The plates are larger than the mould. The plate covering the mould shall have a mass of at least 75 g. To meet this requirement, additional small weights are placed on a thin plate.
It is used for cement soundness (volume stability) tests. The mould is made of brass, 30 mm in diameter and 30 mm in height, and is manufactured by joining two 150 mm long indicator rods.
When a load of 300 g is applied, the distance between the tips of the indicator rods becomes (17.5 ± 2.5) mm without causing any permanent deformation of the mould.
