Continuous Vertical or Horizontal Single Shaft Mixers consist of acylindrical mixing drum bowl with an inlet at one end of the mixing drum, anoutlet and vent at the other end, a full material mixing shaft, two drumbearing flanged end bearing couplings complete with integrated air or gas purgeshaft seal It consists of closing end plates and drive unit complete with powertransmission.

Plowshares or inclined blade shovels rotate as mixing tools in a specialplane on the mixer shaft in the drum container. The result is turbulence in themixture, which contains all product particles continuously during the mixingprocess. The formation of dead spots or slow motion zones in the mixing drum isprevented, ensuring precise mixing. In some cases, separate driven high-speedcutters can be installed to achieve the desired mixing effect.
