Geıss T9 Vacuum Thermoforming Machine — 4000×2000 Mm

General Information
The GEISS T9 is a large-format, fully automatic vacuum thermoforming machine designed for sheet applications. Built in 2010, it is in working condition and available for on-site inspection in Turkey. With automatic sheet loading/unloading, dual (top & bottom) fast-response heating, and a Siemens-based control architecture, it delivers repeatable quality and short cycle times.

• Heating: Independent upper and lower heater fields with fast-response quartz/halogen elements; individual element power adjustment and heat-field visualization

• Control: Siemens SIMATIC S7 PLC with PC-based HMI; all axis/process parameters can be stored as recipes

• Automation: Fully automatic cycle; automatic sheet loading and unloading; mold pre-venting; automatic switching from tank to pump

• Vacuum system: ~1,811 L vacuum tank with four ~100 m³/h vacuum pumps; oil level and filter monitoring via HMI

• Plug-assist (upper plug): Synchronized pneumatic system, approx. 31,800 N

• Clamping frame & table forces: Each approx. 61,075 N with infinitely variable adjustment on two axes

• Cooling: Hybrid air and water-mist cooling with high-flow fans for mold and part cooling

• Safety: Light curtain at operator side, interlocked access doors, industrial safety architecture

• Upper and lower heaters mounted on independent linear guides; motorized upper heater carriage for fast travel

• Stepless speed control and synchronization on all axes; fine approach and dwell steps

• Quick-change fastening for faster mold changeovers

• Automatic sheet loader: automatic pick-up at max format, alignment (front–back, left–right), pneumatic sheet separator, and automatic unload to cart

• Recipe-based control of multi-zone temperature, time, vacuum, and pressure profiles via HMI

• Pyrometer in the upper heater

• Additional vacuum pump (capacity beyond standard set)

• Mold temperature control: Integrated tempering unit (up to ~95 °C), ~6 kW heating, automatic water-flow monitoring, 7-day timer

• Sheet sag control: Photocell for supporting air and photoelectric monitoring to limit pre-blow height

Typical Applications
Automotive interior trims and covers, appliance liners and panels, sanitary parts, large technical trays and housings, signage and display panels, furniture/decorative surfaces—suitable for both thick and thin sheet, especially in large formats.
