EYB60-D Automatic Curved Edge Bander The glue pot features a dual-spindle design; consequently, for curved workpieces, glue is applied to the back of the edge banding, whereas for straight-edged workpieces, it is applied to the edge of the wood itself. The glue pot is positioned beneath the glue application rollers. Glue temperature is regulated via an electronic thermocouple. The edge banding magazine automatically feeds banding material supplied in either coil or strip form. Coil-fed banding is cut to the required length by an automatic guillotine cutter, controlled by an electronic length-measurement system. The optional, easily detachable automatic workpiece feeding robot derives its feed motion from the system's main drive source and its clamping force from a pneumatic cylinder. To ensure uniform adhesion—particularly in cold working environments—the EYB60-D model is equipped with a pre-heating unit featuring a hot air blower. An adjustable infeed table (0–45°) enables edge banding on angled edges. The automatic banding feed section consists of one motor-driven pneumatic roller and an idler roller assembly.
