Vibration

Vibration is the process of shaking the concrete to release air from within by transferring energy into it. The shaking temporarily breaks the friction between aggregates, making the concrete more fluid. As the concrete becomes more fluid, it compacts and settles more easily. The result is denser, stronger, and more durable concrete. As soon as the vibration process ends, friction between the materials inside the concrete forms again.
