Column Boom (Tanker Welding)

Column Boom Systems have been developed for circular and longitudinal welding independently or in combination with the automatic welding head conveniently placed on the workpiece to create the necessary welding conditions, with rotator or positioning. With its fully automated structure, Column Boom Systems allow increasing quality, reducing production time and margin of error, precision and continuous welding in a much longer time than people can reach.

Stardart Features: The turntable, which is mounted to enable the column to rotate 360 degrees, has the feature of rotation manually.

All horizontal and vertical rails are precision machined for vibration-free and smooth movement in one axis. An inverter driver is installed to provide variable speeds for the horizontal movement of the boom and the movement of the column boom system on the rail. Auto-blocking motor-reducer group is used in the vertical movement of the boom, and in addition, a mechanical safety system is placed. For the boom to move precisely in its vertical movement, a counterbalance system is placed inside the column and this system is provided by using high-strength chains and gears. Limit switches are used to terminate all functions and standard safety precautions are taken. All wiring is provided with cable channels. Welding machine power unit is placed in the most suitable place on the column-boom trolley, it can be changed optionally. All these technologies are designed to ensure optimum efficiency in production.
