CHISEL

Chisels are used to cultivate the soil in the field after harvest, eliminating the need for a plow. The structure of the tines breaks up the plow substrate and is a mounted machine that performs light clod-like tillage during the dry summer months when plowing is not possible.

Chisels allow for high working depths. This allows soil aeration, prevents rainwater from stagnating on the surface, draws water to the bottom, and preserves soil moisture. They also break down hardened layers, allowing plant roots to descend more easily. This process increases yields.
