General Specifications:

The LİYA automatic range of 200 kN capacity flexure testing machines have been designed to meet the need for reliable and consistent testing of flexural test  on standard concrete beams, transverse test on kerbs and flagstones, indirect tensile tests on concrete and interlocking pavers.  All LİYA machines feature the complete automatic test cycle with a closed loop digital readout. Once the specimen parameter have been introduced, it is sufficient to press the START button to complete the test.

Flexural machines consist of their main part; frame, power pack and data acquisition & control system. Each part has been designed to manufacture machines with a high degree of mechanical stability and complies with EN 12390-5, EN 12390-6, EN 1338, EN 1340, ASTM C78, C293 and C496 by choosing suitable accessories.

The versatile load frame is designed for minimum deflection at maximum load resulting in very high accuracy. The load frame is welded steel fabrication carrying the ram fitted to the upper crosshead. All frames have a single acting downstroking ram with over travel switch protection to shut the machine down should maximum ram travel be reached. The return of the ram is done by dead weight to get maximum accuracy on the load measurement. The load cell is used for load measurements.   All flexural frames have been designed to accept all the accessories for flexural and transverse tests. Frames can be connected to any LİYA compression machine as a second frame.

Maximum capacity is 600 Bar. Pressure gauge’s sensitivity is %0,3.

Digital graphic display unit loading rate of the time of testing, load and stress values ​​can be monitored.

Software

Complete with Concrete Compression Test Machine.  Sample, company, laboratory and test values can be entered in the programme. Load-time, stress-time graphics,  test reports and sample reports can be taken.

At the end of the test cycle, the results can be stored in the large memory or downloaded to a PC in LİYA software format

Flexural Test Assembly for Concrete Beams

The test assembly is used for 3 or 4 point flexural tests on 100 or 150 mm concrete beams. Can be used with flexural frame. The distance of lower bearers can be adjusted between 100mm and 800mm. The distance between upper bearers can be set to 100mm or 150 mm. For 3 point testing one of the bearers can be removed and the other placed in the center. The bearer dimensions are 40mm diameter x 160 mm length.

Flexural Test Assembly for Kerbs

The test assembly is used for flexural tests on kerbs. The set consists of two lower bearers 20mm diameter x 600mm long and 40 mm diameter upper loading piston with ball seating assembly. The distance between lower bearers can be adjusted from 100mm to 800mm. Can be used with flexural frame.
